I use MS Access for my site. Where do I put the database?
Many hosting services allow you to publish your MS Access database in any position from the root of the site, while providing owners of the folders, inside or outside the root, with appropriate permissions (read and write) and adequate protection from hackers undesirable.
In general, the names of these folders are mdb-database, or data, or FPDB or otherwise.
