The FileSystemObject Object FileExists method returns a Boolean value that indicates whether the file exists, or specified or not.
It returns True if the file exists, False if it does not exist.
The only parameter required is the presumed path of the file you want to establish the existence.
Here's an example:
Dim fs
'I create an instance of the FileSystemObject
Set fs = Server.CreateObject ("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
'Check if file exists
If fs.FileExists ("c: \ www \ site \ index.asp") = True Then
Response.Write ("File exists!")
Else
Response.Write ("File does not exist!")
End If
'I cleaned
Set fs = Nothing
