Wordpress: Sort and manage the pages of the blog with PageMash

By default, according to the graphic theme that we use on WordPress, the site's pages are handled according to 'chronological order in which they were created or in alphabetical order. This system is good for those who have special needs sorting, but has disadvantages when you have the need to specify a precise order or hierarchy between the different pages of the blog, to show the connections in a certain Order our visitors.

The plugin just PageMash allows us to have an intuitive interface within the administration panel of Wordpress thanks to which, with a few mouse clicks, we can give an order to our pages and group them according to topics covered in them .

To install the plugin, as usual, we have two possibilities. Cerchiamolo through the section add new area dedicated to panel add-ons. Or download the plugin from this page and uploading all your files inside the folder add-ins for Wordpress on our servers, which is inside the wp-content target. Activate the plugin in the panel dall'apposita section of the CMS.

At this point we will have a new label on the left sidebar panel, group pages, with the voice pageMash. In this section we will see a list of pages that we created on our site.

To change the page order you must click on an item and drag it up or down. Instead, to change the hierarchy simply drag to the right or left. In this way we will organize our pages according to our needs and those we consider most appropriate for the blog that we manage.

Moving the mouse on the small arrows next to each item in a menu with three items that will allow us to edit the page (edit), hide (hide) or rename (rename). In addition there is also shown the 'id number of each page.

The entry to collapse instead allows us to reduce the list of pages visible to only list the main pages of the blog.
