The CSS property z-index is designed to determine any overlap of the elements. In a sense we can say that the z-index is a third screen size (depth): the elements as "superficial" overlap and cover the most in "depth".
z-index accepts numerical values, both positive and nagtivi. The elements with higher z-index will be superimposed on those with lower z-index (ie: the larger the value of z-index and the element is more superficial).
