At this stage of takes the reader will have acquired a certain familiarity in the use of Mac OS X and it is time to take advantage of the capabilities that this operating system offers.
The first innovative feature is that we can use the 'Expose. Definitely will happen to the reader that you are working with multiple windows open with simultaneous and different programs and, of course, the transition from one program to another at times it will not be so quick to blame the mess created by the number of windows. Using Exposé however, the operating system will display all your windows and your applications in an orderly way and you can easily switch between them quickly.
To show the operation of Exposé prire go to different applications of your choice. Then you are in a disordered way, all application windows behind each other and the only way to move between applications is to use the dock. Thus, for example, if you have several windows open when you click the Finder icon in the Dock, Passaro see Finder windows, but always out of order and will therefore be necessary to move the windows until you find one you want.
That said, now clicking on the button F3 on your keyboard will see that the windows on the screen are arranged in an orderly manner and this is the Exposé and a demonstration of this is shown in the screenshot below:

As you can see, with this view, you can have a view compessiva of all open applications and choose the one you want in no time. It will be enough to click on the desired window to disable the Exposé mode and get as active window, the one that we clicked. I assure you that if for example you must copy a text of a web page of a text editor, in this way you will pass quickly from one application to another greatly reducing the time of writing.
The use of Expose say that can be optimized. Riconduciamoci presented first to the issue, or to have several Finder windows open, a large number of other open applications and having to choose a specific window in the Finder. If the window is very high nuemro, Exposé might also prove to be very useful, but it is possible, so to speak, limiting the number of windows of atonement.
To do this, press the F3 key on the keyboard and once we entered the Exposé mode, simply click on one of the open applications in the dock to restrict the application windows exposé clicked. The same effect can be achieved without getting prior Exposé mode. Suppose, once again, having to look for a particular Finder window, it will be enough to click the Finder icon on the dock, and keep premto Exposé mode automatically will be called the Finder windows open at the time.
E 'can also navigate Exposé going to see the windows of a given application simply by pressing the tab key on your keyboard. From left to right of the dock, we're going to see the windows associated with each application currently running.
In conclusion we can say that Exposé is a great tool that allows to order the windows open when the number of applications is high. I assure you that initially you will not see this tool as useful, but with the habit I assure you that you can not do without. In the next chapter we will present an atro very useful tool that the operating system makes available to us and we will show you how to make some customizations, for both Exposé is for the new tool we're going to introduce.
