Enter a folder in the Dock

In the previous chapter we analyzed the Applications folder, and we saw how to customize the dock of our Mac As mentioned above on the left side of the dock is a sort of division (represented by a sort of pedestrian crossing) which effectively separates applications from folders . This is because, if you try to drag an application icon to the right you will see that the division is not possible.

In that way you can add folders and exclusively, in this case, it is recommended to put the folders they access most frequently. At the top of the menu you can decide how to organize files in the folder name, date of creation, and much more. Continuing analysis of the menu, under the label shows how there are two possibilities: Folder and Pila. These menu items operate on the folder icon on the dock application, or if you select the folder icon you will see how the classical image of the Applications folder, and if you select the mode stack will be displayed as an icon image to one of the files' within the path. Last we go to list mode is the mode List (Automatic display is nothing but the grid view) showing the contents of the folder as a list where we will have a thumbnail of the application icon and next to the name of the same .
