The terminal

We dedicate this short chapter to another tool that may be helpful during your experience on Mac OS X Terminal. This tool is the dual of the Command Prompt on Windows and in fact allows the execution of operations from the command line. The icon for this application is as follows:

and the window that appears when you click on the icon will be as follows:

The style of the window of your terminal can not be equal to that shown in the screenshot because you can configure the style of the window by simply moving the application in the menu bar, click on Shell, then New Window and then click on one of the voices appear to refer to a particular style. If you choose New from the shell entry panel will simply create another card in the current window as it does on browsers such as Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer.

The presentation of the terminal has been introduced only for completeness since the use of the same by a novice user will be zero.
