Possible Class Action against HP

The recent decision of Hewlett-Packard to abandon support for the mobile operating system WebOS inherited from Palm has surprised more than one analyst, but would create even more discontent among the shareholders of a company.

The problem lies in the fact that many shareholders would bet their money on the input of the HP in the tablet market with the touchpad, but it remained highly disappointed by the new corporate strategy suddenly became skeptical about the project.

The market is able to digest almost anything, but many have been injured by falling shares of HP which have seen their value fall by 20% in just one day, which is why they would be evaluating some of the hypothesis of a Class Action.

According to Richard Gammel, one of the promoters of the possible class action, the company would have to tell shareholders about his intentions and the possible implications of WebOS, but for now would not be reached by the HP communications about this matter.
