In this particular tutorial we will see how to make a TV-style Vintage use that, Adobe Photoshop.

Step 1

We begin by setting and create a new document width 800px, height 600px and resolution 72dpi:

Step 2

With the rounded rectangle tool create our own container "box out" the color # 2e2400, select Tools menu and set the Shape Layers 10px radius:

We double-click on the layer "box" style with elaboriamone and Inner Glow:

Step 3

Draw another rectangle inside the "box-out" (let's call it "box-inside") as a slightly smaller figure and color # 767676:

Step 4

Now draw a square inside the newly drawn. The square, which will become our TV screen, must be drawn on the left. We create, therefore, the level of "screen-out", select the rectangle tool in color # d6d5d3, draw the square and modify the style of the new layer as shown:

In doing so we get the area included in our screen:

Step 5

Now we're going to add a plot (our screen so it is too flat!). To do this we create a clipping mask (Alt + New Layer) and set these settings:

We apply a filter:

 Filter -> Noise -> Add Noise ...

Then add another filter:

 Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur ..

We set the layer opacity to 50% and plot the final result here:

Step 6

Now let's create the 'glass effect. Create a new layer ("inner-screen") then select the Rounded Rectangle tool with radius 30px and white background and draw a rectangle inside the rectangle "screen-out" as shown below:

Subsequently, with the Pen tool we have to add 4 anchor points as shown:
With the Direct Selection Tool (white arrow) move the anchor points creating a shape more like that of a TV screen:
