In the many design projects that I've often found myself facing confronted with the need to adapt the text to the shapes of the image, to do this Photoshop gives us the ability to write the text according to specific tracks.

Since the CS version, in fact, Adobe has introduced the possibility of creating a vector path and allow the text to follow. With version CS3 have been introduced additional features including the ability to slide along a path, along a circle or in a vector form.

Text on a path open undulating

Create a New File (Ctrl + N) with measures to taste, give the file a name "Text on a path wavy".
The tool that allows us to create paths and the Pen tool by which we can create the nodes that define the track.
Activate the Pen tool (P key) and draw an "S", making sure to create less points (knots) anchor as possible (by doing so you will see a better result and softer), use the handles to give a rounded shape:

We select the text (T key) and posizioniamoci to the first point above the line, you'll see the cursor change shape and turn into a wavy line, we click and write the text.
We note that the text follows the route has been created as well as from the point of departure at the end:
We may also decide to move it and change the starting point via direct selection, simply place the mouse near the text and the arrows appear:

We can also change the track, let's move to do so in the tracks tab:

 Window> Paths

you will see 2 paths, we select the one with the text and always with the direct selection change our route:
The image shows the path changed and the text that follows, you can also change all the text properties, colors, sizes and fonts at a later time. It 'can also use the Warp Text command to bend and distort tilt:
Here's an example of a revised text with the function Altera Text:
