It happens often enough to bump into online surveys, that which is offered on the sites of major newspapers to those themed technology until you get to the more prosaic of the gossip sites. The general consideration that I would do is this: are veramenti bad (I love trenchant judgments).
Given that development is not a survey (or poll) for some time and are therefore not linked to any best practices I decided to trust the imagination to create one.
At the moment I do not have a definite purpose to do that than to share it with you in part by combining different techniques that we have seen in previous articles written by me and adding something that we have not yet used: the accordion jQuery Ui.
I state that I never really loved the accordion. Are useful for implementing desktop application-like, and often are used as containers for text in sites with a strong minimalist approach, but every time I was about to use them I opted for other solutions.
Why not give it a different task making the accordion can be ordered and thus allow the user to drag them as components of a stack to indicate a ranking?
Is there anything ready on the web? Well if they did reinvent the wheel. But reinventing the wheel is a good thing, you may understand how it works.
Of course, not just the help of jQuery UI (accordion and sortables) but there will also PHP and MySQL, also to show results in a pleasing return to make use of Raphael and gRaphael, Javascript libraries that allow you to create as svg I have described in this article .
The project will be slightly more articulate than usual, will consist in the structure that will enclose the image below:

A note: folders phpajax put into the php files will provide the answers to asynchronous calls from jQuery file index.js,
I tried to give names to the speakers to comment on the code files and generously, in order to clarify each step.
But step by step.
