Install, configure and use VMware Server

VMWare Server is a virtualization software. Virtualization mean by that process through which we can create more autonomous software environments on one computer, sharing the same hardware resources. VMWare Server allows that, in essence, to create, configure and run multiple virtual machines on a single computer.

Virtualization offers many benefits including no doubt identify, from the point of view of safety, the complete isolation of each virtual machine than the other. Any security concerns of a virtual machine are therefore not harmful to others.

Also interesting, in view of convenience, the ability to have multiple operating systems (and then run Windows applications and Linux applications) on the same machine. Or, from an economic standpoint, it is certainly important to have the possibility of different systems without investing in new hardware.

Since it appears important to emphasize that, for a beneficial use of the program (and more generally of virtualization programs) to have a computer with good hardware (at least 2 GB of RAM and a dual core processor). Now proceed to install the software on our machine, we imagine with a Windows operating system. We observe, however, that VMWare Server is a software platform that can also run on Linux operating systems.
