Before showing how to change a drive letter should explain what a drive.
In computing the term drive will indicate the hardware unit responsible for reading / writing data on a data storage medium. Very often the term "drive" is confused with "driver", with the latter term refers to a special software for the management of devices (the driver is the software that allows your computer to communicate with its hardware).
Examples are the floppy disk drive, the optical disc recorder, hard drive, the flash-drive, etc..
On Windows, the drives are marked with a capital letter, and each one is always the same letter by default.
For example, for the hard disk is always used the letter "C", if there is a partition of the hard drive, is also used the letter "D".
As for the floppy disk is used, the "A" and the CD uses the letter "D" (if not already used to a hard disk partition) and the letter "E".
The letter "F" is usually used for removable devices, such as pendrive.
