How do I show file extensions in Windows Vista?
If you want to display file extensions on Windows Vista you have to follow these simple instructions:
- Open the Control Panel
- Select Appearance and Personalization, then Folder Options
- Select the label display
- Uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types"
